Fire Alarm Systems/Emergency Lighting

Fire Alarm Systems are provided to protect occupants of buildings and the buildings themselves, designs are based upon a number of categories which are usually determined by a fire risk assessment. All Fire Alarm Systems operate on the same principle. If a detector detects smoke/heat or someone activates a break glass unit, the alarm will operate warning others in the building that there may be a fire and to begin evacuation.

Emergency Lighting

Emergency lighting systems are provided in the event of a mains lighting failure. Having emergency lighting in place will help guide people swiftly and safely out of the building in a calm manner. AM Electrical can provide designs and installation solutions to meet with the latest standards of BS 5839-1 and BS 5266, ensuring to maintain high levels of safety.

Emergency Lighting can be linked up with a fire system to provide a complete protection package.
